The Edge Foundation commissioned Public First to conduct a survey of adults across England, looking at their views towards the government’s proposed Advanced British Standard (ABS). We also asked a series of more general questions on views towards the strengths and weaknesses of the current education system.

Polling Tables

Public First conducted an anonymous, online survey of 2,007 adults across England from 23rd February – 28th February 2024.

All results are weighted using iterative proportional fitting, or ‘raking’. Results are weighted by interlocking age and gender, region, and social grade to nationally representative proportions.
