New Polling for the Youth Mental Health Coalition in Schools

Public First carried out a large-scale, nationally representative poll for the Youth Mental Health Coalition in Schools to explore young people’s experiences of mental health and wellbeing in the UK education system. The poll set out to understand how students feel about their mental health, what support they receive from schools, and the pressures they face both inside and outside the classroom.

Polling Tables

Public First conducted an anonymous, online survey of 1,000 11-18-year-olds in full-time education across the UK from 14th November – 21st November 2024.

All results are weighted using iterative proportional fitting, or ‘raking’. Results are weighted by interlocking age and gender, region, and social grade to nationally representative proportions.
