New Polling on attitudes towards AI in the UK and US
Benjamin Murphy
Public First surveyed 1,010 adults in the UK from 2 May - 8 May 2024, and 1,007 adults in the United States from 1 May - 3 May 2024. We asked respondents a series of questions about their attitudes towards Artificial Intelligence, which helped to support our findings in the State of AI Report for 2024.
All results were weighted using iterative proportional fitting, or 'raking', The results in the UK are weighted by interlocking age and gender, region, and social grade to nationally representative proportions. In the United States, the results are weighted by interlocking age and gender, census region, ethnicity, and education level to nationally representative proportions.
