Ofsted reports are an important way for families to understand and choose schools. As Ofsted transformed its inspections, it knew that it needed them to work for parents. They asked Public First to help reconfigure and redraft inspection reports and parental surveys. Public First combined education expertise with a deep understanding of parents, using a mix of focus groups, polling, and in-depth 1:1 deliberative interviews to understand, design, and test new reports and surveys. The new surveys were measurably more reliable and predictive of school quality.
