Amy Price

Amy Price is an Associate Director at Public First, working across technology, innovation and education. She was formerly Head of Policy & Public Affairs at The Publishers Association, with responsibility for the publishing industry’s response to national and international policy developments. In recent years, Amy has managed award-winning campaigns to Axe The Reading Tax and Save Our Books. She has also informed government thinking on matters ranging from intellectual property and education recovery, through to freedom of speech and research integrity. Amy began her career as a Parliamentary Researcher in the House of Commons, where she developed expertise regarding the inner workings of Westminster and Whitehall. She holds a first-class degree in English Literature from Durham University and an MA in Issues in Modern Culture from University College London.
