Public First conducted new polling for the Publishers Association from 7 February to 13 February 2025, exploring respondents views towards the British publishing industry, UK literature, and its role on the country’s soft power.

Results Tables

We surveyed 2,009 UK adults and 680 international adults (people who immigrated to the UK after the age of 18) through an anonymous, online survey. All results are weighted using Iterative Proportional Fitting, or ‘Raking’. The adult survey results are weighted by interlocking age & gender, region and social grade to Nationally Representative Proportions.
