The King’s Trust commissioned Public First to explore young people’s views on AI and the future of work – what will shape careers, which skills matter, how they use and understand AI, the impact they expect on jobs, and who should prepare them. The research particularly focused on the views of those not in education, employment or training (NEET).

Polling Tables

Public First conducted an anonymous, online survey of 2,005 16-25-year-olds in the UK between the 2nd May – 1st June 2025.

All results are weighted using Iterative Proportional Fitting, or ‘Raking’. The results are weighted by interlocking age, gender, region and education to Nationally Representative Proportions.
